Vegan Family Living Does Not Advocate Consumption of Dairy Foods

Saturday Jun 30, 2007

In response to a comment about my suggesting that one use butter on their vegetables or milk in a recipe, I want to clarify.

Most vegans understand that there is a vegan version of butter and milk. Therefore I do not always use the terms “vegan” or “soy”. Vegan Family Living does not advocate or suggest that one use any dairy product for consumption. We understand the health issues associated with dairy intake.

So let me put everyone’s mind at ease or rather those who were concerned with my using certain terms, if you see a recipe from Vegan Family Living that calls for butter or milk and I do not write the terms “vegan” or “soy” please know that we want you to use vegan friendly products only.
