We love avocados in our home. So it is only natural that we eat guacamole!

Now we don’t just mash the avocados and dip some tortilla chips in them. We go all out and really mix it up in out home. Try our recipe and see if it doesn’t become a family favorite.

Ingredients

6 avocados
4 cloves of garlic chopped
1 small to medium onion chopped
1 or 2 diced tomatoes
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
1 tbls of Goya Adobe with cumin (if you can’t find goya adobe then jsut use 1 tsp each of cumin, garlic powder, paprika, and onion powder)
Juice of 1 small lemon or lime
sea salt to taste

Directions

Mash avocados with a fork or potato masher. Add all ingredients, except salt and mix well. Taste to see if you need salt. Some people prefer no salt. Eat with tortilla chips. Enjoy!

Variations: Guacomole is really all about how you like it. I have seen some people add tofu, but we don’t do that in my home. Sometimes I make it with 6 avocados, 1 tomatillo (mexican tomatoes), green onions and a little salt.
