Peanut Butter and Banana Smoothies

Peanut butter and bananas taste great together. Peanut butter is full of fiber and protein and bananas are loaded with potassium. So the two together make a great healthy snack. Today I want to share a family favorite.

This smoothie is easy to make and you get a boost of energy in addition with the added honey.

This recipe is Enough for 2 to 4 people

Ingredients
1 banana
1 tbl Honey
1-2 tbl peanut butter
3 cups of milk ( I use soy of course) – I eye my milk so this measurement is not definite
3 tsp of flax seeds or 1 tbl of flax seed oil

Add ingredients to a blender, making sure to add the seeds first (if you use the oil don’t worry about it). Blend for about 3 minutes. Drink and enjoy!

This smoothie gives you energy, potassium, fiber, protien, calcium, vitamin D, and so much more!!!

I just found this blog. I love pb/banana smoothies. It’s nice to know I am not the only one who drinks this combination. My husband thinks I am nuts. :)
