Tropical fruit is a plenty this time of year. This is when making smoothies is fun for me. I love making a smoothie that is good, wholesome and healthy.
One half Mango has 40% of your recommended daily Vitamin A intake as well as 15% of the daily recommended dose of Vitamin C and only 70 calories. Add to that the fact that they are delicious and you have a treat the entire family will love!
Ingredients
1 mango
2 bananas
3 cups of soy, rice, or almond milk
1 tbls ground flax seeds
1 cup crushed ice
2 tbls honey
Directions
Add items in this order: ice, flax, fruit, milk, and honey. Blend for about 3 minutes or until desired consistency is achieved.
