Hi Latara,

First time commenting, but this Green Smoothie post changed all that. I do smoothies, but the suggestions are some new options for me to try. Plus it's something that's simple and healthy to do. Thanks so much for the tips.

Thanks for a great tip. I do smoothies regularly and never thought to add greens. I'll have to give this a try.

Our first green smoothie was a very pretty purple color. Used frozen mixed berries. Everything else was room temp since purchased this afternoon. Froze spinach & parsley & will try tomorrow.

May try adding honey. Wonder if riper bananas would make sweeter ?

I like using unsweetened almond milk b/c I like the protien boost. Also, I'm hypoglycemic, so the protien helps slow down the release of insulin into my blood.

My green smoothie challenge was just to TRY adding greens to my smoothies. You've given me an idea -- to have green smoothies up to 2x/day -- in between meals to fill me up. I'm going to have fun experimenting with different variations.

I've been making them in my magic bullet blender. While I'd love a Vitamix or Blendtech. It works! :)
