Friendly Vegan Friday

Friday Apr 18, 2008

Friday seems to be the day when everyone wants to just be nice. Must be the end of the week thing and a feeling of ‘no work” tomorrow. For my I love Friday because it means my husband will be home for at least one full day. Whatever the reason one has for loving Friday, it is one of the friendliest days of the week.

I want to make Friday friendly here at Vegan Family Living. Every Friday I will try to share posts, recipes, sites, etc. that I find vegan friendly and family focused in nature. There is so much out there for the vegan community and beyond to embrace. One of my goals with Vegan Family Living is to gap the bridge between vegans and those who are not vegan. That means that I will not only share vegan sites, but sites of those who may not be vegan but are eco-friendly and concerned with our environment and the state of the family.

We are Vegan Family Living and for me that means vegan + family= living. It is an all encompassing lifestyle for me.

With that said here is my Friendly list for the week. Be sure to check out these great sites:

Vegan Recipe Blogs:

Vegan Bits: This is by far one of my favorite sites to read. Lane does a great job with reviews, sharing recipes, and just talking about his vegan journey.

Fat Free Vegan Blog: Susan takes the best pictures and the fact that her recipes are all made with no oils, margarine, or shortening and the recipes look so yummy.

Eat Air: I discovered this blog as I was blog hopping and it is a great one to read through with some very yummy looking pics.

Eco-Friendly/Green Shows to Enjoy

Ok that is it for this week. Be friendly and visit these sites, listen to the shows, and commend these folks for a job well done.

Enjoy your weekend!
