</->
Here in America the economy is a bit topsy turvy right now. Frankly we just don’t know if the prices will ever go down and that can be a scary thought.

I for one have always been a momma who shopped on a tight budget. As a single mother I was on welfare and there was a time when I was only receiving $50 a month in food stamps,$490 in cash benefits and working only 10 to 20 hours a week. Now considering my rent, which was $400, utilities and the rest it was difficult to make the groceries last. But I got smart and learned the value of coupons, day old products, the .99 stores, and other frugal living habits.

Believe it or not I learned to make those food stamps, plus the little money I added to it, stretch. At the time I was not a vegan but I was still into fresh produce and was never a huge boxed food person. I learned that from my momma who made home cooked meals almost daily. The only time we ate out was her payday when she would go out and get some fish or ribs. That was really about it. So cooking at home has always been a part of me.

When I became a vegan I thought shopping frugal was out the door. But since we are more of a whole food as opposed to a convenient food family, I was able to apply the same techniques I learned as a single mother.

Eating healthy vegan foods does not have to be expensive. The expense starts to come in when we purchase the convenient foods and eat out more than we eat in.

I have created a 15 page report that will help any one become a frugal vegan. It is not a grocery store report but rather a how to stretch your food report. You will find information on

how to create additional meals from your leftovers

what you can do with a few basic kitchen staples

frugal breakfast ideas

lunch ideas that will keep you out of that lunch line at break time.

This report is completely free and my gift to all Vegan Family Living visitors, subscribers, and supporters. You can download your report here.

Once you have read it, I would love to know your thoughts. Just leave me your comments right here on this post.
