Transition with Ease to a Vegan Diet
Powered by MaxBlogPress

When I first decided that I wanted to try more raw foods in my diet, Rupert was elated. He went out the next day and purchased a book that took me days to actually pick up and read. When I did, I was not sorry.

Dining In The Raw by Rita Romano made me feel very comfortable in my journey to go raw. She provides comprehensive information about nutrition and why one would want to go raw.

As I perused the book I became engrossed with the section on sprouting. I went to Rupert and told him that we need to hurry and get a new house. I needed a yard to grow and a space to sprout. Rita’s book made me want to be healthy because she helped me to understand why we need to be healthy.

Rita even includes a section on cooked foods.

As she discusses her travels you feel as if you are there sampling each meal. She helped many turn their lives around with her cooking style and she is a sought after woman when it comes to teaching about eating and Dining In The Raw.

One of the things that I do is to always keep baby spinach. I use it on sandwiches instead of lettuce and I mix it with lettuce (50/50) when I make a salad.
