Apple Cranberry Salad

This salad is light crunchy and very refreshing. I love it in the summer time with a cool glass of lemonade.

Ingredients
6 apples of choice chopped. I use Fugi or Michigan apples
1 cup of fresh cranberries
1/2 cup pecans, sunflower seeds, or walnuts
1 tbls organic raw sugar
1/2 cup raisins
1 cup water

In pot place water, cranberries, and sugar.
Stirring frequently, cook on low to medium heat until the cranberries begin to pop – about 5 to 10 minutes.
Place apples, nuts, and raisins in bowl and mix together
Pour cranberry mixture over apple mix and stir
Chill in refrigerator for 1 or more hours
