All About Nutritional Yeast
Nutritional yeast is one of the best sources of vitamins and minerals.? It is also tasty on many foods.? Here are some helpful tips and hints:
- Nutritional Yeast contains 18 amino acids ( making it a great source of protien, 15 minerals and is rich in? B-Complex vitamins.? It is a rare source of B12.
- Chromium is an ingredient in nutritional yeast that regulates blood sugar.
- It can be used as a condiment.? Sprinkle it on rice, vegetables, baked potatoes, and more.
- Use it on popcorn.
- Put in your beans at the end of cooking.? Mix in a little butter and you have a pot of beans that taste so good.
- Use 1 teaspoon per each cup of flour for your baked goods.
- Makes a great cheese substitute.
- Nutritional Yeast only has 1 gram of fat per serving.? A serving is 1 heaping tablespoon.
