An alkaline flair for your diet, part one.

Because of the amount of important information on this topic, it will be offered in a series of articles.
The topics of alkaline foods and antioxidants have been in the health “limelight”, and we’d like to discover and discuss which foods are best for increasing our alkaline and antioxidant intake. We will begin to feature tips, recipes and gardening ideas for growing and using alkaline and high antioxidant ingredients. For now, we’ll begin with alkalinizing foods that will assist in acquiring a beneficial systemic pH.

Please share your ideas, experiences, activities and outings that you have enjoyed doing and/or visiting. Premies: an update – 01 May 2009
This is exciting! With the grandparents’ encouragement, the parents have decided to take the challenge. They say that their list of to do things for the weekend include locating colostrum, infant probiotics, and a non-dairy formula. We are glad to be able to provide them some assistance this weekend in demonstrating how to make a variety of fresh baby foods.
Interestingly, the grandfather’s paternal grandmother was a vegetarian and he’s beginning to lean that way. Never too late. This story may take a number of interesting turns.
