Food of the Week: Apples
->
We have all heard the saying, “An apple a day keeps the doctor away”, but many of us have not taken the time to find out why. Granted that eating on apple a day will not necessarily keep the doctor away, but it sure does help.

Apple Pieless
This recipe is a great way to have an apple pie without the crust or the long wait. I love the fact the it still has the nutritional value and still has that fresh baked apple pie taste.

Roasted Garlic Butter
Here is a very simple yet delicious recipe that you can use to make garlic bread, mix it with your spaghetti or spread over fresh cooked veggies.
Easy Roasted Garlic Butter
6 cloves of peeled garlic
2 tbl of olive oil
sea salt
Directions: Preheat over to 350 degrees. Drizzle garlic with a little of the olive oil, place in shallow baking dish. Roast in oven for 5-10 minutes or until garlic begins to brown. Add garlic, salt and remaining oil to a food processor and process until smooth.
Butter bread of choice and toast in oven for about two to five minutes.
