There was once a time when man was vegetarian only. That changed over time and consumption of meat found it’s into man’s daily diet. Over the years, the issue of eating or not eating meat has had many baffled and confused.? So has the decision to decide what kind of vegetarian one wants to become should they choose. Should you be lacto-vegetarian, ovo-lacto vegetarian, vegan…what to do! What to do?

Well let me help you out a little bit. It is all so confusing and yet so simple.? Even a baby can figure it all out.? Yeah right!? Let me put your mind at ease.? Here are the definitions:

Many people look down their nose if you say you are vegan or they say things like “What do you eat if you don’t eat meat?”

Every time we visit my brother-in-law he will say that he was not quite sure what to make for dinner since we do not eat meat. It is so funny that I just look at him and laugh. Vegans eat meat too, just not the meat from the deli or that come from animals.

If you are a carnivore and you just can’t see your life without meat, like my brother-in-law, then that is fine, but there are many ways you can embrace a veganism without giving up the flesh.

Some people are what I call one? dimensional when they cook veggies. They don’t experiment or try new things with their veggies. I try to bring excitement to my veggies by adding things that make them pop out and say eat me? rather than hiding in the pot hoping someone lifts the lid. Here are some ideas I have tried over the years:
