Ginger Baked Beans w/ TVP
One of my favorite bean dishes is bar-b-qued baked beans. My sister-in-law makes hers with ground turkey and people request them so much that she says she gets tired of cooking them. Of course once I married my husband I had to find an alternative to the gobble gobble. Oh, the wonders of TVP. You can read more about TVP by reading this Fact Sheet.
For a great dinner time treat that everyone will love try these Ginger Baked Beans

I love crab, but guess what? So do my bad cholesterol levels. My husband and I created this great seafood salad that is all vegan. A little crab seasoning really makes the difference in this dish.

Quick and Simple Spaghetti
I love italian food! I am into the sauces and pastas, but man they can be murder on your hips. So when I became a vegan, I switched to whole wheat pasta and learned how to make a sauce from scratch. Of course I still pull the sauce off the shelves in the store for a quick fix because you will learn, I love to cook, but I don’t like to be in the kitchen all day long.

Home Cleaning Supplies Made from Nature
I have learned how to take ordinary everyday items found in your cabinets and use them for caring for your homes. This was done first out of necessity and then out of a desire to create a healthy and happy home.
The apartment building we live in is old and so we fight mold in the winter time and dust all year around. As a result we tend to fight allergies often. The best advice when you have allergies is to reduce the allergens in the environment.

About Gimme Lean and TVP
We received a comment from a woman wanting to know what Gimme Lean and TVP are. This fact sheet will answer that.
Gimme Lean
Gimme Lean is a FAT FREE, no cholesterol replacement for sausage. I have made meatloaf, meatballs, spaghetti, chili, and a number of dishes. Add a little maple syrup, sage, cayenne pepper, and magi to it and it makes an awesome breakfast sandwich.
It is made by a company called Lightlife and they have a whole line of products including chicken strips and bacon.
Interesting Facts: One pack of Gimme Lean makes 3 to 4 burgers.
